We want to invite you to a party.  A gala.  Our Ten-Year Anniversary Gala!

Did you know that Casa Libre’s doors have been open for ten years? We can hardly believe it, either. Tucson, you beautiful city, you’ve made this happen. Fourth Avenue, you wonderful space, you’ve made this happen. Local friends who have come to our doors to hear readings, hold classes, release books, show films, see films, take classes, make kites, carry kites, attend salons and symposiums, you’ve made this happen. Faraway friends who have come and shared the wealth of your ideas with us, and have shared the idea of us back in your hometown, you’ve made this happen. To all who have stepped through the red doors of Casa Libre en la Solana, personally or virtually, over the years and met us as writer, artist, or audience, this gala is for you. We have opened a space in this corner of the world for arts and letters. Let’s get dressed up and celebrate. It’s time to rejoice.
