Made for Flight

Made for Flight will be hosting workshops in and around Tucson from Sept - Nov, 2011. Made for Flight is a youth empowerment project that utilizes poetry and kite construction and decoration to commemorate the Transgender people who have been murdered in the last year.

Made for Flight will be marching in the All Souls Procession on Sunday, Nov 6 in Tucson.
Meet at Casa Libre (228 North 4th Ave) at 5pm.

Tucson Transgender Awareness Week is November 14-19 - events will be held at UA and throughout Tucson.

Transgender Day of Remembrance Vigil to be held Saturday, Nov 19 beginning at UA fountain with speakers and a reading of the names, we will then process down 4th Ave and gather at Wingspan.
