Bohemia, a funky and eclectic emporium that offers gifts, goods, furniture, and art created by artists in Tucson, AZ, is hosting a day of giving to benefit Casa Libre. A percentage of all sales made at Bohemia on Saturday November 26, will be donated to Casa Libre. Bohemia offers a unique shopping experience with over 200 different local and regional artists and crafts people for unique, locally made holiday gifts. A reception at Bohemia will feature the music of Leila Lopez and the poetry of Kristi Maxwell, Selah Saterstrom, and Jennifer Denrow. Please come on out to support local artists, shop for your holiday gifts, and enjoy refreshments, music, and poetry.

Musician and Poets Bios

jdenrow

Jennifer Denrow lives in Colorado. Her first book, California, is available from Four Way Books.

 

 

 

llopez

Leila Lopez has been compared to the likes of Ani Difranco and Fiona Apple. Her original finger picking style and poetic lyrics have captivated listeners both locally and nationally. She plays the guitar, bass guitar, piano, cello, drums, banjo and mandolin. In 2010 Leila won the TAMMIES best female vocalist, best songwriter, and best new release for her newest album Fault Lines.

 

kmaxwell

Kristi Maxwell's books include Re- (Ahsahta Press, 2011), Hush Sessions (Saturnalia Books, 2009), and Realm Sixty-four (Ahsahta, 2008). She teaches around Tucson and serves on the POG board of directors.

 

 

 

ssaterstrom

Selah Saterstrom is the author of The Meat and Spirit PlanThe Pink Institution, and Slab (forthcoming), all published by Coffee House Press. She teaches and lectures widely and is on faculty in the University of Denver’s graduate creative writing program and in the Naropa Summer Writing Program. Her work can be found in Bombay Gin, Tarpaulin Sky, Fourteen Hills, and other places. A Mississippi native, she now lives in Colorado.
