Thursday, May 9, 2013

• Arrive and check in – 12-6pm at Casa Libre
• 7-9pm – Opening remarks and Q&A with featured poets and artists. Followed by a community reception at 406 N. 4th Ave (next to the Food Conspiracy Co-op). 

Friday, May 10

• 8-10:30 – Continental breakfast for attendees at Casa Libre
• 10:30-12 – Hannah Ensor and TC Tolbert – On Bodies in Space, On Writing in Public: how we fill, use, own, shrink, spread wide, give, take; where we put us, and what's our place at 406 N. 4th Ave (next to the Food Conspiracy Co-op)
• 12-1 – Lunch on your own or with new friends
• 1-2:30 – Ian Ellasante - Queering Liminality: The Uncommon Beauty and Creative Potential of Middle Spaces at 406 N. 4th Ave (next to the Food Conspiracy Co-op)
• 3:30-5 – Sam Ace - some of the glories sigh for prophets* (excavating false grammars and unnatural borders) *from Bharat jiva by kari edwards at 406 N. 4th Ave (next to the Food Conspiracy Co-op)
• 5-7 – break for dinner
• 7-7:30 – Rae Strozzo will show work and give an artist talk at Casa Libre
• 8pm - Performance event #1: Rooftop readings by Ian Ellasante, Hannah Ensor, Joy Ladin, Rocket and TC Tolbert at Casa Libre

Saturday, May 11

• 8-10:30 – Continental breakfast for attendees at Casa Libre
• 10:30-12 – Joy Ladin - "I am `Woman' - now": Emily Dickinson's Transpoetics, and Ours" at 406 N. 4th Ave (next to the Food Conspiracy Co-op)
• 12-1 – Lunch on your own or with new friends
• 12-3 –D’Lo – For the Queers, a youth workshop at FLUXX
• 1-2:30 – Dawn Lundy Martin - THE VALUE OF FORGETTING: BLACKNESS, GENDER, THE TEXTUAL BODY,  & THE ARCHITECTURE OF PAST at 406 N. 4th Ave (next to the Food Conspiracy Co-op)
• 3:30-5 – CA Conrad - (Soma)tic poetry praxis from the queer outside looking in at 406 N. 4th Ave (next to the Food Conspiracy Co-op)
• 5-7 – break for dinner
• 7-7:30 – Rae Strozzo will show work and give an artist talk at Studio One (on the corner of 6th ave and West Toole).
• 8pm – Performance event #2: Rooftop readings CA Conrad, Samuel Ace, D’lo, and Dawn Lundy Martin at Casa Libre

Sunday, May 12

• 8-10 – Continental breakfast for attendees at Casa Libre
• 10:30-12 – Closing discussion – thoughts on trans poetry: hopes, fears, and dreams at Casa Libre
• Everyone goes home happy and exhausted!
